No running on pool deck. Diving starts are only permitted during the last 5 minutes of the warm up period. Only swimming in one direction will be permitted during that time. Lane positions for the meet will be determined by club placing in the league standings. Lane Positions as of Aug 1st, 2023 (Subject to Change): Lane 3 = FVM Lane4= GLE Lane 2= ECC Lane 5=ELM Lane 1=VYC Lane 6 = WES Coaches A coaches meeting is scheduled at 8:15 a.m. beside the diving boards. A minimum of one coach per team must attend this meeting. Lunch coupons for each coach working the event will be handed out during this meeting. The competition will begin at 8:45. Please note the following: Events 10 years and under are 3 heats Events 11 years and up are 2 heats 1 relay per age group per pool Slowest heat first, fastest heat last (opposite to dual meets) Maximum of 2 alternates on the back of each relay card Coaches must submit entries to VP of Swimming by July 30th in the agreed upon format (Click here for file ) Changes will be accepted up to 30 minutes prior to the meet.
