    Book your party at Westminster Pool Party Bookings Host your party at WES! You may make a reservation for a 3 hour block of time to host a party during free swim. Please note that the pool will remain open to members during this time. Sunday reservations can only be from 1- 4 pm due to Family BBQ. There is a fee of $5 per non member and any WES members attend for free . Alcohol/glass containers are not permitted on the premise. We have large freezers available if you need to store your birthday cake. Reservations will be confirmed by a member of our committee or staff to ensure availability. BOOK NOW

  • Leaders | Westminster-Pool

    Leaders The leaders program is an ideal program for young people (aged 12 to 16) to become involved in making a contribution to the pool community while having a fun summer. Are you in a program (high school or Cegep) that requires volunteer hours that must be logged and signed off on? All the responsibilities listed below can help meet your program requirements, all you need to do is speak with an executive prior to starting. Requirements and Responsibilities: Leaders must be 12 years old or completed grade six. Leaders must be willing to assist lifeguards as required Leaders will assist lifeguards during swimming lessons and Guppies Leaders will participate and assist in organising fundraisers Leaders will be assigned to canteen duty Leaders will participate in gate duty, greeting members and other clients Leaders will babysit during aquafit/yoga. While these may seem like a lot of responsibilities, rest assured that leaders may choose the duties they feel would suit them best and the shifts are not endless. It’s important that you have fun while taking on these new responsibilities. We encourage as many kids as possible to sign up as leaders. The more leaders there are, the more enjoyable it will be for everyone. In addition, the leaders will participate in several exciting activities.

Fees are to be paid prior to entry, either at the canteen or via Interac e-transfer to poolwestminster@gmail.com (e-transfers are auto-deposited, so no password or security question is required). Please include the number of people in your group when making the payment. Remember to bring proof of payment, such as the email receipt from the auto-deposit, as it will be required for entry.     Dive Team Whether you can do a back one-and-a-half-half-twist or just a cannonball, WES diving lessons and diving team can help improve your skills. Come on down for lessons with friendly intructors who will provide specific feedback to improve the dives you already know and to learn many others. If you've got that competitive edge, be sure to check out the dive team and take part in friendly competitions against other pools in the NAA on a weekly basis. "You're just a hurdle away from tons of fun, and we suggest you take the plunge!" 

  • Swim Team | Westminster-Pool

    Like to swim and team sports, then WES is the spot for you! Swim Team Our goal at WES is to promote participation of all our swimmers and build team spirit. Our lifeguards are qualified to teach the swimmers proper technique to improve their strokes and times, which in turn gives the swimmers personal satisfaction. WES has an amazing tradition in swimming, as our 14 NAA championships would attest. We will be competing in the "A" Division this season. Meets are held Wednesday evenings throughout the summer. The ambience, spirit and energy of a Wednesday night meet is something special. Even if you don't participate on the swim team you should come and join the fun.
